Creating Excellent Regional Strategies Webinar on May 17

The U.S. Economic Development Association and the National Association of Development Organizations have announced a May 17  free webinar (Creating Excellent Regional Strategies)  that showcases innovative approaches and partnerships Economic Development Districts (EDDs) are using to create regional economic development strategies. 

The webinar will introduce NADO’s draft EDD CEDS Peer Standards of Excellence and provide training on how EDDs have developed a regional strategic planning and implementation framework that is results-oriented, focused on aligning and leveraging resources, inclusive of public, private and nonprofit sector leaders, and emphasizes the importance of asset-based regional economic development.

Featured speakers include

  • Tim Brennan, Executive Director of the Pioneer Valley Planning Council (MA)
  • Chris Endresen-Scott, Director of Economic Development for Puget Sound Regional Council (WA)
